The government is freezing the cheapest electricity sources out. Will you stand up for clean energy?

Onshore wind and solar PV are the cheapest, cleanest and some of the most popular energy sources. Investing in them keeps energy bills down, creates green jobs and gives us our best shot at tackling climate change.

But the government is determined to stop onshore wind in its tracks. As if that wasn’t bad enough, there is a painful side effect. In order to keep wind out of the game, solar is being dragged down with it.

All new sources of energy - including fossil fuels - need financial backing to be built: but now the lowest cost, lowest carbon options aren't even being allowed a look in.

In the spring budget on March 8th the Chancellor will make a major announcement on the future of clean energy. We’re calling on the government to stop blocking onshore wind and solar. Will you join us?
